Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and build out new API integrations to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity
• Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes
• Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision making across the organization
• Design, construct, install, test, and maintain highly scalable data management systems
• Ensure systems meet business requirements and industry practices

Required qualifications

• Strong experience in data engineering, data modeling, and data architecture
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python or Scala
• Extensive experience with big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
• Familiarity with data pipeline and workflow management tools like Airflow
• Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large, complex data sets
