Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and deployment of renewable energy and forecasting models
• Drive the design and execution of experimental designs, data analysis, and interpretation of results
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to inform model development and improvements
• Mentor junior data scientists and provide guidance on industry best practices
• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout all data and model pipelines
• Write clean, well-documented, well-tested and performant code
• Participate in code reviews
• Work closely with company leadership, product management, and software development teams

Required qualifications

• Must: Ph.D. or Master's degree in Renewable Energy, Data Science, or a related field
• Must: 2+ years of experience in a similar role
• Must: Proficiency in Python
